by large mushroom factories that only want to sell you one thing, the boring button. Recently these companies have been importing their ingredients from China,
and growing chinese mushrooms, selling them as if they are New Zealand's produce.
Seeing market emerging for more diverse and locally grown mushroom varieties,
and with the support of my partner, I quit 12 years working for the government
to start life as a mushroom farmer.
