Very happy customer!

My mum bought me this kit in September last year for my birthday. I put it away in the cupboard and forgot about it.

Pulled it out not even a week ago and there are full blown mushrooms coming out of this bad boy already!

So stoked with this product. It’s so exciting to see how much they’ve grown in a day, it would make a spectacular time lapse! Easily the best thing I’ve ever grown!

I’ll be trying another kit soon and hopefully my friends will be too, my daily mushroom updates on my social media have gained a lot of attention!

Thanks so much! :D

Mushrooms galore

Given the double pack of oysters. Both doing fantastically and about to pick 4th crop of pink ones. Have now cut opening in back of box and another crop started on that side!

Excellent product

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my hubby. Just harvested our first crop after 7 days - 750g- great growing conditions in the Hawke’s Bay. Excited to see if we get another crop. Fabulous service.

Quick and easy!

Received this as a Christmas present and it grew from start to harvest in 6 days! Can't wait to eat them.

What an amazing gift!! I wasn't sure I was doing it right, spraying water onto cut plastic. But 5 days in and it all began! Freaky fast!!! Fascinating and addictive to watch! Love it!! I'm harvesting at only 10 days!!

Yes! All the hard work has been done. The mycelium is fully colonised, and they are ready to grow some tasty mushrooms!

Generally between 1-2 weeks to get your first crop. They grow very quickly!

Generally one or two flushes from a boxed farm, two or three from a commercial farm. There is about a 1-2 week rest period between flushes where the mycelium will just sit and relax for a bit.

No! Oyster mushrooms actually like some indirect sunlight. So nearby a window is fine, as long as the sun doesn't beam onto them.

The bathroom or kitchen is a great spot for a few reasons. You are often in these areas, so it reminds you to spray them with water. Mushrooms like fresh air, and you often have a window slightly ajar. Mushrooms like indirect light, and these areas often get some sun. And finally, these areas have easy-to-clean surfaces, so you can wipe away any spores.

Growing some mushrooms to eat in your kitchen, bathroom, or laundry is fine. They will drop some spores if allowed to overgrow, but these can be wiped up with relative ease.
